The Grannie Annie Family Story Celebration is a nonprofit organization that believes in preserving family stories. They sponsor an annual writing competition for U.S. students who are in grades 4-8, and homeschooled and international students ages 9-14.  Students are asked to learn more about their family history by interviewing an older family member and writing the story. From the submitted stories each year, they select about two dozen to be published in an anthology.…
